Hey!
The costumes are packed away, but your dog is still very much on the guest list.
This week is all about meeting people, with your dog handling half the introductions.
Tech and creative types can join TechWalk × Social Paws: Network with the Pack in Central Park on Friday morning. If you'd rather get out of the city, the Social Paws November Pack Hike heads out by private van on Sunday.
Closer to home, the Turkey Trot Pack Walk & Celebration winds through Prospect Park on Sunday, turkey hats encouraged. And for cuffing season, there's Queer Speed Dating at Boris & Horton on Tuesday.
Trivia, karaoke and a psychic night at Barrow's fill in the rest.
Let your dog pick the plan. Or pick it yourself, and let them take the credit.

Wednesday November 4th

Domino Park Trivia @ Other Half Brewing, on Wed, 4 Nov, 19:00–20:00
Other Half's Domino Park taproom runs a trivia hour all about the park itself, right on the Williamsburg waterfront. It's a short, easygoing hour, so your dog can settle in beside you while you prove you know the neighborhood better than anyone.

Karaoke Cocktail Club @ Barrow's Intense, on Wed, 4 Nov, 19:00–21:00
Barrow's Industry City tasting room turns into a karaoke night with craft cocktails and a crowd that sings for the fun of it. Your dog is part of the crowd here, and a room full of dog people makes the warmest audience for your first song.
Wagular Wednesdays @ Sojourn Social, on Wed, 4 Nov, from 12:00
Sojourn Social's weekly yappy hour runs all day on its enclosed back patio, so you can drop in whenever the midweek slump hits. The patio gives your dog a calm, contained spot to relax while you catch up over a drink.
Thursday November 5th

Divination Exchange Party @ Barrow's Intense, on Thu, 5 Nov, 19:00–22:00
Tarot, palm and astrology readers of every level swap two short readings each, then stay on to chat until the tasting room closes. Your dog is part of the circle all night, and an easy icebreaker between rounds with a room full of new faces.

Trainer-Led Puppy Socialization @ JustFoodForDogs, on Thu, 5 Nov, 18:30–19:30
A trainer from Far Fetched Pets runs a free weekly puppy hour at JustFoodForDogs on the Upper West Side. It's a controlled environment for building confidence, so your puppy meets new dogs and people with a pro guiding every hello.
Dog Friendly Trivia @ Boris & Horton, on Thu, 5 Nov, 18:30–19:30
Boris & Horton's Thursday trivia brings weekly theme rounds and prizes to the East Village dog café. Your dog is on the team here, with breaks built in so they get their own fun between rounds.
Friday November 6th

TechWalk × Social Paws: Network with the Pack @ Central Park, on Fri, 6 Nov, 08:45–10:00

Cannavita Gallery Night in the Glow + Dog Costume Party @ Cannavita, on Fri, 6 Nov, 18:00–23:00
An Astoria dispensary turns gallery for the night, with glow-in-the-dark art, live jazz and live body painting. The costume party is for the dogs, so your dog gets one more chance to show off that Halloween look to a crowd that came to see it.
Sip and Paint Pet Portrait @ Barking Dog, on Fri, 6 Nov, 17:30–18:30
Artist Michele Cahill pre-sketches your pet from a photo you send ahead, then talks you through painting it in watercolor at an Upper East Side restaurant. Your dog sits in as the live reference, so you can check every brushstroke against the real thing.
Saturday November 7th

Zoomies x Maneh Live Pet Portrait Ornaments @ Zoomies, on Sat, 7 Nov, 11:00–19:00
Artist Maneh sets up outside Zoomies in the West Village for its holiday launch, hand-painting pet portraits on little wood-slice ornaments. Your dog can model in person while their portrait takes shape, or you can order from a favorite photo for this year's tree.

November Coffee Bark @ Picnic House, Prospect Park, on Sat, 7 Nov, 07:30–08:30
FIDO in Prospect Park sets up its first-Saturday table of free coffee, pastries and dog biscuits on the Long Meadow during off-leash hours. Your dog gets a biscuit and a romp with the regulars, and you get coffee plus the inside track from the people who protect off-leash hours.
Downward Dog: Yoga with Pups @ Bideawee, on Sat, 7 Nov, 11:00–12:00
Bideawee's Chelsea adoption center holds an outdoor yoga class with its adoptable dogs, and the $25 donation goes to their care. The shelter provides the pups, so your own dog stays home for this one and gets the full sniff inspection when you're back.
Pug Moms Club Pug Meetup @ Artbean Coffee, on Sat, 7 Nov, 10:00–11:00
Pug Moms Club brings founder Mumma Viv to NYC for the first time, for a morning of coffee, pug merch and pug-obsessed company in Chinatown. Your pug walks into a room built entirely around them, and probably leaves with a few new best friends.

Social Paws meets in the Meatpacking District and drives the pack out of the city by private van for a guided 5-mile loop around a lake, up to a clifftop overlook. Your dog rides with you the whole way and gets a full day of trail and fresh air with a pack of new friends.

Turkey Trot Pack Walk & Celebration @ Prospect Park, on Sun, 8 Nov, 13:00
Aunt Hilda, the NYC Dog Mayor team and Prospect Park Alliance lead a Thanksgiving pack walk, with turkey hats encouraged and a birthday song for one lucky pup. Your dog walks alongside the newly elected Dog Mayor and the caninedidates, and you take home photo keepsakes from the stroll.

Tuesday November 10th

Queer Speed Dating @ Boris & Horton, on Tue, 10 Nov, 19:00–21:00
Dog Date Afternoon hosts its first queer speed dating night at the East Village dog café, with matches drawn from your app profile. Dog compatibility is part of the match, so your dog gets a say in who you meet next.
Spirited Away Psychic & Paranormal Night @ Barrow's Intense, on Tue, 10 Nov, 19:00–23:00
Tarot, palm, aura photography and even cheese readings fill Barrow's tasting room, with wine tastings and a sandwich pop-up between sessions. Your dog stays by your side through every reading, and might just be the one the medium wants to talk to.

Whichever plan wins, get out there and make some new friends together.
And if something's been on your mind about your pup, hit reply and send it in. It might be the next question we take to an expert.
See you out there 🐾
