If you want to get social, there are dog mixers on multiple days this week. Wooftop Wednesdays brings skyline views and a canine menu to the Bronx on Wednesday. FIDO Dog-Friendly Summer Mixer takes over Franklin Park in Crown Heights on Saturday. Low-key, outdoor, and the kind of afternoon where your dog does all the social heavy lifting for you.
If you want to get zen, the yoga options this week are genuinely absurd in the best way. Outdoor yoga on the Hudson River Sunday morning. Doga at a Williamsburg dog café. And Rescue Puppy Yoga on Saturday, where every dog in the room is adoptable. If you have a friend who needs a nudge toward getting a dog, this is the nudge.

This Saturday at Boris & Horton, Jessica — founder of CNDLNYC, a non-This Friday at Boris & Horton, Must Love Dogs and Comedy brings a dog-friendly stand-up night to the East Village. A rotating lineup of sharp comedians, a room full of people who will absolutely baby-talk a stranger's dog, and usually an adoptable pup on hand looking for their forever home. You get the laughs, your dog gets the attention, and a portion of every ticket goes to Badass Animal Rescue.
Expect sharp stand-up, instant conversation starters on four legs, good drinks, and the kind of warm, welcoming room that only happens when everyone in it loves animals. It's a Friday night out that feels genuinely good — and your dog will absolutely love it.
Dogs must be leashed and vaccinated. Two-item minimum at the bar. Recommended for ages 18+. Show starts at 7:30pm.
